CHAPTER 59

“Your highness, you are more suitable for becoming King in my opinion, you shouldn't give up just because—”

“—Enough,” Felix interupted his buckler. “Don't interfere in royal matters.”

The middle aged man bowed his head, “Forgive me, your highness.”

Felix waved at the buckler, “Whatever, leave my room and take the snacks with you, I'm not hungry.”

“Yes.” The buckler grabbed the tray containing the delicious gooseberry pies and started to head towards the door. He would have to eat the gooseberry pies himself, he wouldn't let it go to waste.

As the buckler headed out, Felix let out a sigh and just laid on his bed, unwilling to do anything else.

He remembered that woman's face and the good times they had together. He thought he finally found the one he could build a peaceful family with. Turns out she was also a fraud.

He tried to convince himself that she was a fraud but.. somewhere deep in his heart. He knew that was not true or he refused to believe it.
