The more she talked about it, the angrier she got. In the end, tears of resentment fell down her cheek.

Chase looked at her in disappointment, but he still smiled as he said, “What if I refuse to apologize?”

Riley almost went crazy with his answer. She took a deep breath and said coldly, “Then you should get out of here. I never want to see you again.”

She thought Chase would regret what he said when she said those words and apologize to Daniel.

However, Chase did not seem to be affected. All he did was shrug and say, “Alright. I’ll leave.”

Chase turned to walk out after that. He was decisive about it.

Riley was stunned. She felt a little bad about it as Chase had stood up for her, after all.

However, the thought of the trouble he caused wiped out all her feelings of guilt, and they were replaced by anger instead.

Edward immediately approached Daniel and groveled, “Mr. Chapman, Chase Collins is the one who hurt you. It has nothing to do with the rest of us.”
