Chapter 30

Everyone, including the woman in his arms, quivered because of his anger. They did not dare utter a word.

They knew very well what a frightening man he was. Even the mayor of South River City had personally come to visit him on the first day he was appointed.

“Don’t worry. I’ll make sure to get justice for you.” Sam stood up slowly and sneered. “Come on. Take me to the presidential banquet hall.”

Meanwhile, not long after Daniel left, Henry had a bad feeling as he kept convincing Chase, “We should leave now, Chase.”

However, Chase did not panic but sat down calmly. He began digging into the delicious food on the table while saying, “Don’t panic, Uncle Henry. We should at least finish the meal before leaving. Food shouldn’t be wasted.”

Riley almost went crazy over what he said. She replied angrily, “How are you still thinking about food when things have gotten so serious? Can’t you tell that Daniel Chapman is getting reinforcements?”
