37: Regrets

"For fuck's sake. I'm not a kid! You didn't have to call the cops." Killian yells at his father, looking straight into his father's eyes as he stands head to head

Elias' hand on his forehead, massaging it in worry before he decides to answer his son, "I was worried, Killian. And technically you are a kid. My kid. Of course I would be worried that you went missing."

Killian scoffs, dismissing his father's concern. He finds it hard to digest his worry. It's new. It's been forever that his father showed any other things than negligence.

Anger flashes through his eyes as he opens his mouth to lash out at his father, "Missing? You could have asked my friends about my whereabouts if you were so worried. Why the fuck do you think I would go missing now. I didn't run away when you fucked up, right? Then why would I do that now?"

Elias tried to stay calm and deal with the situation but Killian is making it hard. He is trying to rectify his mistake and take control, do damage control. But K
