Chapter 24. Blaze

~Flashback~

“Your parents got into an accident, Blaze, and they said it was fatal. They were taken in for surgery, and I do not know the outcome, right now.” Stephanie said, with her voice, breaking.

~Back to reality~

I ran as fast as I could, hoping with all my heart that my parents survived the accident. For the first time since my dad left us, I wanted to forgive him, and give him another chance, since Caramel had somehow managed to make me want to try again, but it wasn’t going to be nice, if he died.

I wanted to give him a chance and let us work as a family again. I was ready to feel and understand what a family was, he was going to be wicked, if he actually left this world, with my mom.

I got to the hallway and met Stephanie, who was looking impatient, waiting at the emergency unit. Before I could rush to her, the surgeons came out, slowly and walked up to her.
