Chapter {28} Don't Be Delusional
Dayos POV;
We arrive at the hotel Esther directed us to and I pull the car to a stop in a convenient spot. We all step down for the car and I stare at the tall building with a not so blank mind.
I so want to get in there, get the evidence against Esthers good for nothing boyfriend and then hunt him down and throw him behind bars.
I'm agitated by the thought of someone doing something so cruel to someone as innocent as Esther. He simply took advantage of her naive nature.
I use the mini remote attached to the end of my car key to shut my car doors. I have walked a little distance before turning around when I notice I'm not being followed.
I find Derrick and Esther conversing by my car. Ever since we got her reports, for some reason, her little stomach has began to look round to me.

Esthers POV; A lot of emotions stir in my guts as I look down at the papers before me. The problem is not signing them, it's the fear of what will be discovered after signing. Narrators POV; Dayo drove himself, Esther and Derrick to the nearest restaurant. He knows Esther had not had anything to eat as they set out of the house very early I'm the morning and starving a pregnant woman doesn't seem like a good idea. Narrators narrative; Derrick is sited in silence beside his sister. They are both glaring at the television but have their minds in separate places. Their father walks into the living room and furrows his brows when he finds Esther resting on her brother, and Derricks arm around her. It's been years since he saw his children this close to each other without yelling at each other, trying to show supremacy over the other, or fighting, and this seems like the perfect opportunity to tell his children what's been on his mind. After so many years of isolation and depression, he has finally found the little light bright enough to light up his world.
