I didn't expect Ada to help so much. I thought she would yell at me for not paying close attention to the task she sent me, but she proved me wrong by telling me it was just natural. Natural to love someone? I bet it was. In Chrys' case, falling for her was the most natural thing that has ever happened to me.

Ada advised me on how to get Chrys to speak to me, and I hope it works out. As I took a week's leave from the shop, I intend to use it well. I won't waste it like I did these past two days.

I sneaked into Gordon's office the moment I heard him leave for work. I haven't been in here since the day he almost caught me. I had been too preoccupied with Chrys to pay attention to anything else.

The study was still the way it was on the day I last visited it. Aside from the extra books on the desk, there was nothing of interest in it. I went through the files on the table, careful to check the contents.
