I grinned to myself as I shut the door, switched off the light, and climbed into my bed. My heart pricked a little when he said situationship but it was our reality, the truth. We couldn't be anything more and I had accepted that. That didn't mean I wouldn't be pained if I saw him with another girl.

I liked the fact that he was telling it to me straight rather than giving me stupid sweet talks. I decided to call my dad and see how he was doing, especially my twin sister, maybe I’d go see her tomorrow. I pulled out my phone and dialed his number, he picked up on the fourth ring, “Hi Dad,”
