~Nivea
I turned but I couldn’t see anybody because it was so dark everywhere. I could only see a shadow and then the person stopped walking. I pulled my legs out of the pool and stood up but I couldn't see the shadow anymore.
Goosebumps erupted from my skin, “Who’s there?” I called out but nobody said anything.
Was my eyes playing tricks on me? I think it’s time for me to go in, I’ve stayed out long enough.
I turned to grab my shawl on the ground but couldn’t see it anymore. I looked down the water to see if it fell inside but it wasn’t there.
My heart started to beat faster and I was starting to panic, “Looking for this?” A voice said beside me and I jumped in fright. I slipped and was about to fall but he grabbed my waist and hand to steady me.
