I knew I had fucked up and even made things worse by bringing up my father. I couldn't even picture her with Xony, I’d go manic. I didn’t know what to say right then, but I knew sorry won’t fix it.

I had planned on telling her what happened but after the trip. I wanted to use this holiday to sort things out with her, which was why I specifically chose the only room on the last floor. No Trish to disturb me.

I had been stupid enough to actually go back to Trish for sex and now she thought if we could easily go back to what we were, we could be something more too.

“Cats got your tongue now huhn?” Niv glared at me.

“I’m outta here,” I couldn't do this right now.

“Hand me the keys or open the damn door yourself,”

I sighed and brought out the keys. She didn’t even wait for me to go the door, she yanked the keys out of my hand and walked out.

I stood there for a while thinking of a possible way to fix us but nothing was coming to me. Heaving a weary sigh, I walked out of the room
