The sun was blinding my eyes. I tried turning my face away but it was still too bright. 

It was the blazing sun that was streaming into the room that woke me up. I fluttered my eyes open, fighting sleep. I saw Zane sleeping soundly so I tapped him, trying to wake up, “Close the blind,” I said, but he just groaned and turned away. 

I furrowed my brows, What was Zane even doing here? My eyes widened when I realized where we were and what happened last night or early this morning. I sat up in fright. It was freaking morning! The sun was out.

“Why didn’t you wake me?” I punched his chest.

“You were sleeping so peacefully and I didn't want to wake you up after wearing you out last night,” he smirked slightly and kissed my shoulders.
