Sarah woke hours later and all her senses were heightened. Her hearing was sharper and more accurate. She could smell a chocolatey scent that made her mouth water. She slowly opened her eyes and Ryan was sitting by her rubbing her arm and hand. She looked at him and tears filled her eyes.

"Ryan",she said in a wobbly voice.

He looked at her and smiled. His eyes filled with tears as he leaned over and kissed her.

"baby thank god you're awake. I love you Sarah so damn much and I swear I am not leaving you ever again ". He knew warriors didn't cry cause they were tough as nails but fuck whatever the view on them was his mate was injured and he felt his world was imploding. NO matter what shit he was given he did not care he would cry when he was upset especially something as serious as losing his mate.

She nodded and burrowed into his arms. He gently rubbed her back and kissed her mark.
