Aurora

The weekend flew by in a flash, and before I knew it, I was back to scrambling around my room at 7 am and trying my best to make it to work before 8 am.

I'd almost sprained my ankle trying to wear my pants, but nothing could deter me.

Every morning, my alarm would ring by 6 am, but I always hit the snooze button too fast for my mind to always acknowledge it. By the time my body would decide to wake up, it would already be an hour later. I'd tried so many things to break the cycle—setting multiple alarms at different times, sleeping early, and changing the position of my phone, but nothing ever worked. Maybe it was a sign for me to just give up.

I sprayed some perfume to finish up m corporate look and made sure to take along my glasses with me. The last time I forgot it at home, I spent the whole day at work trying to edit scripts that I could barely read. It was torture, and Mr. King didn't help with his incessant complaints.
