I didn't have the time to lament over the problem that had just been created as I reluctantly got ready for work, I couldn't get my mind over the fact that I would be seeing his face again, the man who made her life miserable at work was also the same person who made her feel overjoyed at night or whenever she sees his text.

I finally made it to work quite earlier than usual, I walked towards the office noticing some of the staff members staring at me but I was so engulfed in my thoughts that I didn't mind them. I noticed Mr. King was already seated behind his desk with his gaze glued to his computer not bothering to acknowledge my existence which I was grateful for.

I sat behind my desk quickly checking his schedule to know if he had any appointments.
