AURORA

I looked at Mr. King lost of words, I felt both pain and happiness hearing those words escape his lips. I was happy he was going to be with me but sad I had to wait for so long like I wasn't important. I realised I wasn't his top priority and our relationship would continue to remain the way it is until he feels he's ready for additional priority. Could I wait for that long for someone who isn't ready to have me in his life.

I nodded slowly letting out a forceful smile as I gazed into his worry filled eyes.

"I can wait, I will wait." I told him, a smile formed on his lips as he started down at me happily. He held me into a tight hug nearly crushing me, I hope when all this is over he would do as promised.

"Thank you." He muttered while placing a kids on my forehead which made me feel like a child once more.

I walked into the office noticing Mr. King pacing back and forth nervously, he had left earlier than I did this morning because I overslept due to the work str
