Chapter 42 The Adams Mansion

Josephine was stunned. She looked again at the address sent by Win Derdien, Nicholas' assistant.

Josephine stared at the black metal gate, at least three meters high, shielding something beyond it. She took a few steps back and saw that the iron gates were attached to walls of the same height and that the walls were in the form of a very wide box, like a fortress or a stadium.

Josephine cleared her throat, looking for the voice box normally used to communicate with the occupants inside, but before she found it, the black gate opened slowly with a soft hum and a burly man in an all-black suit waited behind the gate. A bodyguard.
