Maribel cleared her throat loudly as she noticed my shocked eyes on her.
"W-who is this….little girl?" She said with an absurd smile on her face.
"Hi, I'm Brianna." Brianna said, walking closer to Maribel and stretching her hand forward for a handshake.
"Wait!" I said aloud, finally regaining my ability to speak. I drew Brianna away from Maribel and towards me. "Brianna, uhm….I think you have to leave here."
"Why?" She said with a suddenly sad face. "Did I do something wrong? Are you angry with me?"

I ran as fast as my legs could take me as I was well aware that soon enough, the three men would realise that I was absent and would come hunting for me and from what I had observed from the fight, it was clear to me that they were very violent. The cold wind brushed through my hair and gave me cold feet. I was able to find my way through the dark path of the woods due to the moon light which found its way through the large canopies of the forest trees. After few minutes, I heard a gunshot behind me and loud yelling from the direction of the building. It was definitely the three men who Maribel had instructed to protect me.
