My whole body felt strained from not moving from a spot for over six hours. I should take a break, but I couldn't leave the work I was doing seeing as I was almost at the end of the course. Another hour or so, and I would finally be done with one of my courses. It crossed my mind that once I was free, I should apologize to Alex for the way I was rude toward him the last time we talked.

After I bashed him for no reason, I decided that I was not going to see him no matter what, until I was able to create the time for us to talk and spend enough time together. Otherwise, there would be no difference in my apology. It wouldn't make much sense if I apologized to him for not giving him enough time and still ran off the moment he accepted the apology. So, once I was fine and had some free moments, I would tender my apology and suggest that we spend some time together.
