Chapter 39- The Safety

The gunshots become more intense more than just gun fights, like a war front. Everyone ran helter skelter, unsure of which direction to face.

"I don't think this is a drill" Grace hugged Raymond tightly. They were stuck in their position.

"If it is one then it is a hell of drill" Raymond held tight on her too. They weaved right and left every seconds to avoid being bumped on by the people running around.

"What could be happening? Third World War?" she looked directly in his eyes, like she would see her answer there.

"No, of course, not Third World War." Raymond disagreed. She was worse at guessing. This was not bad enough to be described as a global war.

"Okay, whatever it is, I wish it ends quickly" she prayed heartily, closing her eyes.

"Ends quickly? Are you saying we all die right now?" he asked with a solemn face. He wasn't ready to die.
