Chapter 82- Allegiant
Grace peeped to see where her blood might have stained. She didn't see anything. How could it have disappeared just now? She looked at her leg again. Of course, that wasn't a bullet. A bullet would never be that long but she knew nothing about bullets.
A giant stylishly made syringe hanged on her leg. She could move the leg now. She was not hit by a bullet. It was a syringe that had released some kind of serum in her body.
She removed it from her body. She read the inscription, she didn't know what that meant but she was sure it was to make her sleep.
Her eyes were closing. She started feeling dizzy but that didn't stop her ear from getting blast by the siren of the cops that had arrived to the building.
She leaped weakly into one of the rooms, she made her way into the restroom therein. She jumped out through the window and dropped on a lower building beside Gilbert's house.
"I will not sleep,I will not sleep" she chanted as she rolled on the roof
