Chapter 94- Backpack

The plane took off. There were some uneasiness as the plane banked before finally balancing in the air. The passengers heaved sighs of relief as they became settled in their various seats.

"We should be saying our last prayers. And this is unnecessary" he removed his seatbelts and attempted to do the same with Grace. Grace blocked his hand.

"Why, last prayers. What are you thinking?" Grace looked at him. She looked disappointed. Raymond was confused.

"You are the one talking about a soldier with a grenade launcher on his shoulder" he winced angrily.

"And you said something about being optimistic" she retorted quickly. She was just being very confusing.

"Then what do you suggest we do now?" he asked. He had surrendered to her. He wouldn't be arguing over that with her.

"We are on a plane. We are going to land for sure" she repeated his previous words. Raymond gasped. That was all he would listen to. He didn't want anymore of it.
