“Did the work police show up at your place and pull you away from your wife?" Carter asks waltzing in, not bothering to knock, like he owns the place.

“Did you cut short your marriage just for work?" He questions again. If this was someone else, I would have him thrown out of the building but he is Carter Astor and he thinks he owns everywhere.

“Where is the file on the Singapore project?" I mutter under my breath in an attempt to evade his question. I am not in the mood to speak with anyone but who is Carter without a little fight to mess with my sanity?
