Sean's POV

I checked my appearance in the mirror, ensuring nothing was missing from what I normally wore to work. My phone had already given me the alarm that my plane was leaving in a few hours, so I looked back in the mirror and smiled, encouraging myself that I was leaving.

I felt insecure but repeated Emi's complimentary words as I imagined Arabella waiting for me. I'll be fine when I meet Dallas later. After all, I had to face him to meet my beloved, now or in a few years.

Of course, I couldn't imagine being able to wait that long. Just a few days would make me miserable. I opened the door to my room, my breathing slow. "Wait for me, Bella."

"Mr. Sean is leaving already?" Emi asked, approaching me with hurried steps. She smiled encouragingly when she was in front of me. "You look handsome, sir. Miss Bella will surely be happy to see you visiting her this neatly."

I smiled slightly, correcting the middle-aged woman's words. "I'm just about to meet Dallas, but thank you, Emi."
