The Accident

Arabella's POV

"Go away! Get out of my room, Sean!" I screamed as I struggled, trying to break free from Sean's hand grip that was starting to hurt my wrist. I realised that Sean's body was bigger than mine, but I still tried to get away from him. I punched, pushed and gripped the casual shirt he was wearing tightly.

My efforts were almost successful as I felt his grip loosen, intending to run back into the bathroom and lock the door, but before that could happen, Sean had already pulled me into his firm embrace. My face pressed against his chest as he whispered above my head. "I won't let you go until you calm down, Bella."

I was pensive momentarily, my hands resting on Sean's shoulders while he tightened the embrace. I could hear the sound of his heartbeat so close to my ear, his warm skin even though he was still covered in clothes and his distinctive masculine scent. I almost drifted off as the sound of his breathing soothed me, but I was reminded of the betrayal he had committed
