Chapter 44: Something dreamy

Aniston's POV

It was the first time his voice contained any distinct emotion when he spoke.

It took a few seconds but I deciphered it. There was a lot of anger in Storm.

"Why? He is insignificant" I told him.

I spoke too fast.

I wanted him to believe me but I guess he didn't because he went ahead to explain himself.

I can tell you with certainty that it's not always good when guys explain themselves.

"Well, he is the only person you didn't describe in detail. He means something to you"

I turned my back to him.

Lesser men would have seen it as signs of disrespect but not Stormi. All he did was rubbed my back in a circular motion which was oddly soothing.

I tried not to think of the boy we bumped into three years ago instead I took note of Stormi's room.
