Chapter 20. Dream part 7

I dug into the lamb shank, sucking the juice out of the bones. The pregnancy had made me a savage. I sucked my fingers, watching Tyler cut up his food elegantly with the fork and knife.

It made me think of the childhood movie that I had watched. Beauty and the beast, and I was the beast.

He smiled and fed me a piece of his bacon and avocado wrap. I had already eaten more than half of the food from the picnic bag.

I took a slice of cake and devoured a big bite. Picking up a napkin, Tyler wiped the chocolate from my cheek. I really felt like a clumsy dummy.

Here in front of me was this rich,powerful,well groomed man, and then there was me. A country girl with no table manners.

Tyler smiled and picked up a piece of cake, shoving the entire slice in his mouth.

I erupted with laughter as the entire bottom of his face was messed.

He tried licking it with his tongue," aren't you going to help me with this?"

I picked up a tissue and wiped his face.
