Concern
After looking at Damien's angry face, Eva became restless. She tried to close her eyes and rest for a bit just Damien suggested. Her battered body is tired and it's demanding some rest as well. Her fractured ribs are yet to recover completely. She can feel the pain whenever she moved. The doctor gave her some pain meds, but they are making her drowsy all the time. So she refused to take them until and unless she needs to.
She groaned with frustration as Damien's angry face kept popping in front of her eyes again and again.
"Why is he so angry? Who made him so furious?" She wondered.
Since the day he rescued her from that island, he never left her side until it's absolutely necessary. And nothing made him that mad either.
'Is it work? He was neglecting his work because of me. Is there any problem in his workplace? Is that why he was so mad? Did his subordinates messed up something? Since the day he met her, he was sucked into her mess of a life.
