"Angel?" Damien exclaimed and rushed towards her to lift her off her feet.
Damien carried her towards his chair behind the desk and made her sit on his lap. After she was rescued, this is the first time he did anything that is intimate or being this close to her. He always carried her everywhere, but as soon as they reach their destination, he used to let her go and move away from her.
This is the first time he made her sit on his lap or maintain close contact for this long. Even though she is shocked, she is not repulsed. She welcomed his touch for a change.
"Do you need anything angel? Why did you come downstairs? You should have called me instead. Your feet must be hurting" he said with concern and began to slowly massage her feet just like the doctor showed him. Eva closed her eyes and bit her lower lip so that she wouldn't moan and embarrass herself. But her sore feet are now feeling so much better with the way he is massaging.
