Stranger danger
The night progressed with lots of smiles and laughter. All of them enjoyed the seven-course meal hosted by Alexander. Everyone complimented the chef for his talent and thanked Alexander for having them. After he decided to reveal everything to his son, Alexander is not feeling so guilty as before. He understood that this might be the last dinner with his son before the truth comes out. he is not sure how Damien would react after he reveals everything. So he tried to enjoy the dinner as much as he can.
After dinner, everyone retired to the living area with their drinks in hand. Alexander decided that it is the right moment to reveal everything.
"Damien, I need to talk to you about something. Let's talk in my office" Alexander said, which caught the other's attention.
"Are you seriously going to discuss business right now uncle Alex?" Patrick asked with a frown. It's so out of character for Alexander to bring business in the middle of family time.
