Cane's pov

I don't even know why I told her she could train. I really don't like the fact that Jordan is her go to person, like I am her mate it should be me not him.

“if you had treated her well and not almost reject her then maybe you would have been her go to person” Max replied me.

I came down stairs to get a drink and decided to check if Ava was in her room to inform her that we will leave together but when I opened the door to her room after i knocked and didn't get a reply, I found the room neatly made like nobody slept on it. Where the hell could she go to so early I thought to myself.

I headed out to the construction site to see how far the work have gone and I must say i am impressed by what I saw. While I walked around people stop to greet me and were so pleased to see their alpha, after a while I decided to head back to the house to get ready to move to the training ground.
