Chapter 35: An event in the past

Olwen thought as she walked, but no matter how much she thought about it, Olwen didn't know what terrible thing awaited when she was at home. But Olwen can be sure, it will be beyond her tolerance. To be honest, Olwen could not imagine what Mr. Kent - Olwen's father and Mrs. Rosa - the woman Olwen once considered her mother, would do to punish Olwen. The woman who will whip Olwen with a whip? Or, more indignant, would she lock Olwen in her room, and then starve her for days? And Mr. Kent, besides scolding, did he listen to his wife, and treat Olwen cruelly?
