Chapter 55 – Support from family.

[Clayton POV]

Kaleah takes a deep breath, I can feel her hands tremble, “I…. um… I am pregnant.”

The room is first silent, they are probably adding two and two together, grandmother opens her mouth to speak but she doesn’t.

“Congratulations,” Conan says.

“The father…...” Cyan tries to say but I cut her off at once.

“We don’t care about that, we are keeping it,” I say firmly glaring at her.

Conan doesn’t seem to care but grandmother on the other hand looks too shocked to even speak.

“Grandmother?” Kaleah says, almost in tears.

“Oh… Oh… child, don’t, I didn’t mean, I am just shocked, I will not be against anything that is your two’s decision okay,” she finally says, standing from where she sat to wipe the tears off her eyes.

“Hey… we will support you okay, you do not have to be scared.” Melisa says; Cyan also walks to hug Kaleah.

She cries as the two women hug and console her, maybe I should have told them sooner, because she would have gotten the support sooner.
