I really wanted to be with Alex as he was looking for Tessa but I couldn't.

At that moment, I was with my dad and the other clan elders because apparently, women vampires from our clan had started complaining of the fact that I was mated to two half souls and to make it worse, they were both wolves.

Apparently, the rumor was that I had even lied and they weren't from our ancestors or gods.

I just fell in love and decided to disregard out clan's teachings.

Thus, when I heard that Tessa had been kidnapped once again, I was almost double sure that it wasn't the witches this time.

This is because my dad and out elders had issued a warning to all witches about hurting Tessa.

The witches, though powerful, knew that we were an enemy they needed to be wary of.

This is because, we were faster than their spells and before anyone could throw a spell at us, we would have gotten to them already and snapped their necks.

They knew that if we went to war, we, the vampires, would win.
