Chapter 26: Game changer

The next morning, I woke up to Jeremy crying, I grabbed him giving him a large hug. I was terrified to go downstairs, I saw Steve immediately open the door,

“Go ahead ill be right behind you ok.”

I nodded as Steve came over and gave me and Jeremy kisses.

I went down the stairs as I saw Darren sitting on the couch, eyes dark. I was a bit worried he heard us last night, I gave him a small smile.

“Let me hold him.”
