Chapter 72: Making up

I began to feel tears start in my eyes, he was surprising me with a proposal, and I reacted by kicking him out. I starred at his phone as I tried to wrap my head around everything. I heard the door open and saw Steve standing there with his bags, he didn’t say anything. He grabbed his phone put of my hand and walked towards the boat, I watched him as he began to load his bags up.

I walked towards him, he didn’t even bother to look up at me,

“I’m sorry, I don’t know what to say. I did over react a lot and I don’t really have an excuse for it. But I didn’t act really nice towards you and I am sorry. I not only invaded your privacy but I didn’t trust you. I actually thought you were plotting some sort of hit on me.”

Steve looked up at me like he was frustrated, he shook his head, “Why would I want to kill you? I’ve done nothing but try to save you. Guess you got a big surprise eh?”
