Chapter 81: Found a home

Me and Steve sat down before leaving the hospital as I called the lady back, I began by introducing myself and gave her all the information she asked for,

“Okay I got his file right here, yes Mr Spencer has taken a guilty please where he has been sentenced to 8 years in prison, with possibility of parole after 5 years. Once he is about to be released someone will contact you with the information and also his probation officer who will want to set up a restraining order.”

I thanked her and looked over at Steve, he was looking me over looking for an answer on my face,

“8 years he took a plea this morning.”

I have 8 beautiful years where I do not need to look over my shoulder. Steve stood up quickly and gave me a big hug, we were both smiling so much.

“Wait why is it you look happier about this then when I proposed to you?”

He began to laugh, “Cause it was odd babe, that reminds me do you think you’d be willing to wear your ring too cause we are getting a few odd looks.”
