As Lendon and Kendra walked out of Michael’s apartment together, he held her hand tightly, looking like he’s afraid she will run away. After Lendon and Kendra got outside the apartment, Curtis called Kendra’s attention.
“Miss Miller.” Curtis bowed his head and signaled Kendra to pay attention to him.
“What’s wrong?” Confused, Kendra stopped and turned to Curtis.
“What happened between you and Michael Baker?” Curtis lowered his voice. When Curtis found this place, he didn’t tell Lendon the truth, afraid that it will cause another trouble, but he needed to figure everything out clearly before they got to the castle.
Kendra looked at Curtis confusedly, she doesn’t understand why he should ask her.
