Kindergarten crush

     

       As the sky brightened the earth, children and teens could be seen vividly tossing and running around the beautiful school garden completely overwhelmed with their play ground, they looked precisely the same. But amongst all the children their was a different girl whose eyes where dark and could be sighted alone and Moody.

"Hey, Eunice come play with me".

Her class mate suggested with a slight smile on his face but she raised up her face pitifully and stared at him, As a little child she had something for him but he don't seem to be concerned and regularly paid attention to the other girls in the school and not her. 

    "You like them Benjamin, you don't like me". She said with rare tears in her eyes it could be noticed if closely looked at. "Who told you, I like you too, I just don't like girls with curly hair they look like one annoying artist and I hate her so much, but you're my best friend and I don't like you to be Alone I will learn to like you and stick around you always..

 F her face beamed with a heartfelt condolences and she accepted the flowers and the palm cakes from him.. "Thank you Benjamin".

"YOU'RE welcome, shall we?" He gestured with his hands that she should join him which she concurred.. 

Playing happily around with Benjamin, it was a long break so they all had enough time to play. Seeing that them alone was boring they decided to join the larger groups sitting under a tree telling stories, she mistakenly stepped on a fallen stick and almost stumbled when her best friend helped her, but they laughed at her and mocked her worn out uniform.. "Have you seen a crazy girl today?" The elderly one amongst the children asked and they all laughed at her.

She looked down on her feet but Benjamin grabbed her arm unexpectedly, "You shouldn't be concerned about their critics, I'm your best friend and you need only me and your family, they're only jealous because you're special so be happy".

 Both got up and went closer to a bush unaware a little wolf stared at them all through their stay, he fancied her and followed her home, noticing  she was the third child and the last born he left her to answer his father's call on know account should he have left home..

 Eunice got home undid her pinafore and shoes  ran through the hallway crying. "come here". Her mother called from behind 

  stopped in her track's.. "Oh my God! Why is my baby's face drenched in tears?"

"Momma my clothes are old, I was mocked in school like a nonentity". She said with a bridging vocal. 

"common my darling, your clothes aren't old, just that your materials are different, my little girl, don't always get angry being mocked by anyone, life always give chances of getting better each day and one day you will be better and stunning okay?"

 She  gnawed at her nails and nodded in agreement..  "That's my girl, come elder sister is waiting to comb your hair, your cousins sent flowers to you they will be visiting soon".

She only said that to light up her mood, how much she loved socializing but no opportunity, she wished to meet her cousins and nephews aside her always barking sister.  "momma!" The voice rang from the living room bit she ignored her and only paid attention to her little daughter whipping dirt out of her face. But in few minutes grave came out of the house to meet them.

"momma this is injustice, giving all your attention to this bitch remember you gave birth to us all".

She gave her a deadly glare.. "Do not ever call my daughter a bitch she's not a dog, not even mistakenly grace".

"Sorry mom I just hate that you're overprotective of her".

"what do you want grace?"

"mom today is the prince's birthday and many people has been invited to the castle, I should be the first".
