Trisha tensed up immediately. “You! You called the police?“ She asked. She feared that what she had done could have been exposed.

She had come to Blake's house, thinking that she would be able to manipulate them into hiding her. She didn't expect that she would find Abby there, or worse, that she would be carrying Chris's child.

Mr. Blake looked at Chris and Abby, and they both shook their heads. They hadn't called the police.

The door was pushed open, and a number of police officers rushed in, armed. One of them pointed at Trisha, who was still sitting on the floor. “Arrest her,” he said.

Two men rushed forward to handcuff her. All the Blakes and Abby looked on in confusion. “What happened?“ Mr. Blake asked.

“Trisha, you are here under arrest for the suspected murder of John Mayor. You have the right to remain silent, or whatever you say could be used against you in a court of law,” the leader said.
