“It’s not something you can do.” He cut in even before I could be done with my sentence. I don’t know what I was expecting but it hurt to hear him say that either way I wasn’t intended on going down without a fight.

“You’re the only one who thinks so, also Gina promised to introduce a teacher who’d coach me properly. What do you mean it’s not something I can do, have you seen me try?”

I was utterly pissed, even if he was against the idea, he could’ve worded it nicely.

“Doing that will not change anything,” Cameron said reaching for his tie, “it’s just not something you can do, it’s way more than you think.”

I felt heavily insulted, “is it because I didn’t go to college, that’s why you’re looking down on me.” My insecurities couldn’t help but jump out, although no one had ever mentioned it, I knew not having a college degree made them look down on me.
