Has she taken the bait?

Darcy and Eva landed back at the private landing strip for the Walters in early hours of the morning. All the Walters without exception were present to welcome them home. Eva felt overwhelmed even though she knew the line- up was not for her. She called out respectfully to Adam and Elizabeth before turning to nod at the rest of the family members. No one took any offense.

The thing that surprised the Walter women was how lovey-dovey second brother and sister-in-law became…... but then again, perhaps the life and death gave second brother a rude shock, waking him up to cherish those around him. The only one who was not happy about her second brother’s enlightenment was Victoria.

For her, love and hate were well defined; just by going to through gates of hell wouldn’t change a thing unless that person exchanged their life as a price of hatred. Eva definitely didn’t have any saving grace by her books. If anything, she was an opportunist who took advantage of her brother’s amnesia. But e
