Surprise!

The next morning Emile woke up in good spirts although she was still weak physically, everything else was progressing well. She looked at the two babies who were sleeping between her and Chris. The strange thing was both babies seemed to be more attached to Chris than her. She looked at the duo that were curled in his arms with a satisfied smile although a strange pang of loss flashed past her eyes.
