Chapter: Thirty-Three

Jess smiled. it was the brightest smile that everyone had seen form her since she arrived.

“You swear, you’ll really show me?” Jess asked as she looked at Joshua. He nodded, he took a step forward, ready to make his way to the exit, but Xavier laid his hand against his chest and stopped him. ‘What are you doing, Joshua?’ Xavier linked him. ‘We live on a territory filled with wolves, you don’t think she’ll see them, sooner or later? Or what? Are we going to keep her locked up again? The truth of the matter is that she already knows now, she heard us. Doc said it would affect her, but look at her excitement, does that look like a girl that is scared? If she knows about our wolves, we can keep the rest, more important secrets away from her.’ Joshua said, sounding like he was planning just another strategy for another war or fight. He removed Xavier’s hand and made his way to the exit. Jess followed, barely containing he
