Chapter Ninety-two

Elena had been waiting anxiously for months, her heart pounding with hope and anticipation every time she entered her mother's hospital room. The doctors had given her little assurance that her mother would ever wake up from the coma that had engulfed her for what seemed like an eternity but today was different. Today, as Elena entered the room, she couldn't believe her eyes.
