Chapter Seventy-seven

Elena's heart raced as she got back to Andrea's mansion. The grand gates swung open, granting her access to the rich estate that had become her temporary house. She couldn't believe that she was back here despite the familiar surroundings, a sense of unease settled upon her shoulders, tugging at her every step. She couldn't shake the feeling that something was terribly wrong.

As Elena stepped through the grand entrance, Andrea greeted her with a mix of relief and concern shining across his face. He had left her back in her house to prepare the house for her and had sent his jet back to pick her up. His piercing blue eyes locked onto hers, silently acknowledging the gravity of the situation. The tension in the air was palpable, and they both knew that their lives were about to change drastically.

"Welcome back, Elena," Andrea said, his voice tinged with worry. "I've been informed of a threat to your life and I know we have to take adequate measures. We need to take precautions."
