Chapter Seventy-six

A few hours later, Andrea was still with her, comforting her and making sure that she didn't self harm. He had a feeling that this was the first major weeping she had done ever since her father died and it just seemed like she was waiting for him to come.

''Are you hungry? Would you like to eat something?'' he asked.

Elena, who had her head on his chest, rose up to look at him. She didn't expect him to say that but just hearing it from him now just proved to her that he really wanted to look after her.

''No… i'm not hungry.'' she said, finally.

Andrea took her hands in his, giving it a gentle squeeze as he silently assured her that everything was going to be alright.

''You know… my father had big plans, plans he wanted to achieve. He told me some of them on the morning he got shot.'' she whispered.

Even though her voice was really low, Andrea could still tell what she had said. He held her closer to him, pouring all of his love into the hug.

''I'm sorry.''
