Michael's POV

I talked to Devin's Alpha earlier today and he claimed he had no idea what was going on between these two. He actually sounded upset and scared.

He begged me to believe him and told me I could come search his entire office, files and computers. He swore he had nothing to do with this. He even went as far as to say that he would not let him back onto the property.

He told me the alliance with us meant more to his pack than that one person who obviously hurt me by hurting my third in command.

I believe him. I could tell by his voice, the tone and the shakiness. He almost sounded on the verge of tears. I think he thought he was losing his alliance with us. His pack is half the size of ours, they're very small. And the more I think of it, the more I realize how much he truly needs us.
