Temperance grips her chest as an emptiness fills her. Sebastian punches Kent out cold feeling his mate's distress.

Cole- Cam left her. We need to get her out here before the warriors notice.

Sebastian runs to Temperance and lifts her up.

“I’ve won, you can see that,” Sebastian tells Eric and Derk, before running back the packhouse and their bedroom.

Temperance is crying and Sebastian holds her close to his chest. Cole too, is whimpering sadly. Sebastian doesn’t say a word, just lets Temperance cry. The sun is about to come up they haven’t slept at all.

Sebastian simply sits perfectly still, Temperance’s tears falling on his bare chest.
