“None of your business.” Jacob replied impatiently as his eyes trailed to the driver that had come with their mother before turning back to her.

“We are on our way out, you can come along if you are here as our mother, and not your husband's wife.”

“Jacob.” Jackson cautioned slightly even though he was also currently angry at their parents.

Sighing, he used the remote in his hands to open the door. “Mother, we just received news that Anna’s father is dead, and we are on our way to see her family.” Jackson explained calmly to their mother, intentionally hiding the fact that their son was also there, to see her reaction.
