Charlotte's POV

"It's that guy," I answered, and he raised a brow at me, as if telling me to explain further.

"It's the hunter's son," I responded, and he had no reaction. Just as I heaved a sigh of relief, I saw his eyes darken, a flicker of anger disappearing almost immediately.

"Don't ever call his name again," he said, sounding calm, but the warning in his voice was very obvious.

I demonstrated zipping my lips and throwing away the key; his hard gaze softened.

"Where's your room?" I asked, changing the topic, but noticed his face hardened.

"It's one of the rooms in this villa, a distance away from yours."

"Such a room is in a villa; who would have imagined? Anyway, can I have a look?"

"No!" He replied almost immediately, his voice turning cold, and in that moment, I felt chills run down my spine.

"I'll understand it better once I see it myself; then I'll be able to tell if it's like an ancient accessor house, and if you're a reincarnation or not," I said with a disappointed pout o
